The Criminal Records Unit is located in Room 101. To view or obtain a copy of a criminal file you must present a picture identification.

After disposition of a case, most court records are stored at the court's off-site Records Retention Center or are microfilmed. Copies of files retained at this site can be requested at the Criminal Records counter and take 3-5 business days to be delivered to the Gordon D. Schaber Sacramento County Courthouse.
