PUBLIC NOTICE
In accordance with the Presiding Judge’s Order the Sacramento Court’s Small Claims Division remains closed due to the Covid-19 Pandemic.
All Small Claims trials scheduled Jul 13, 2021 to July 31, 2021 were rescheduled to August. Notices were sent to all parties advising of the new date. Small Claims trials and mediations resumed as of August 3, 2021, and will be held via video conference (Zoom) only.
As of November 1, 2021, Carol Miller Justice Center began processing Small Claims Filings for unpaid COVID-19 rental debt that became due September 30, 2021.

- Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the courthouse is not open to accepting filings in person.

located at the Carol Miller Justice Center or by mail to:

Night Court
Night Court services at the Carol Miller Justice Center (CMJC) are provided remotely on the 2nd Wednesday of each month from 4:00 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. If the 2nd Wednesday of the month is a court holiday, Night Court will occur on the 2nd Thursday of that same month. Services provided include: video hearings and Mediation and Advisory Clinic Workshop utilizing Zoom, a video conferencing application.
Please note: Interpreter services are not currently available during the Night Court hours.
