  • As a result of the Court Closure due to the COVID-19 Epidemic, from March 20, 2020 through March 30, 2020, and in accordance with the Presiding Judge’s Order dated March 19, 2020, the Sacramento Superior Court’s Unlawful Detainer Division will be closed for all services.

    For emergency ex parte lockout proceedings in Unlawful Detainer matters, parties can file such requests at the Downtown Gordon D. Schaber Courthouse (720 9th Street, Sacramento, CA 95814) via the court drop box. The drop box is located inside the facility at the 8th Street entrance door. Drop box hours are Monday through Friday, from 10:00am to 2:00pm. Parties can pick up their orders and documents at 4:00pm on the day their documents were deposited.
