In November 1999, the court opened the William R. Ridgeway Family Relations Courthouse. Court employees, judicial officers, county officials, and visiting dignitaries celebrated the official opening on February 8, 2000 with speeches by Chief Justice Ronald George and Presiding Judge Richard K. Park.
